BEGINNINGS
John Scriba, Founder
As World War II ended and The Greatest Generation returned home, folks like John M. Scriba Sr. took that fighting spirit to rebuild America. He started the Stonewall Fan Company in 1947 manufacturing industrial and residential exhaust fans to meet the growing needs of industry and home builders. Over the years the company’s reputation for quality brought additional metal fabrication opportunities and we began manufacturing OEM metal parts such as, BBQ grill grates including the grate and triangle shelf used on the classic Weber Kettle Grill, fan guards, dishwasher and oven racks. With the expansion into more diverse products, the name was changed to Wiremasters, Inc.
AN INDUSTRY VISIONARY
Jack Scriba, CEO
John “Jack” Scriba, Jr. joined the firm in 1957 and officially took the reins in 1971. The WM. Wrigley Jr. Company asked Wiremasters to create displays that would increase gum sales within the gas station retail channel. Gum sales took off as did display sales. The unique requests of the display industry required Wiremasters to add other capabilities and manufacturing processes for wood and plastic. Exclusive contracts with other manufacturers were established to bring a wide range of capabilities to the industry at a lower cost. To better reflect our growing presence in this new market, Wiremasters changed their name to The WM Group, (WM for Wiremasters) “A Family of Manufacturing Companies Providing Creative Marketing Services.” During this time, we expanded to our second location, more than doubling our manufacturing size.
Jack contributed to the retail industry as a member of the POPAI board and as a founding member of the Wire Fabricators Association and the Permanent Display Manufacturers Forum. In addition to many industry and customer awards for excellence over the decades, He was inducted into the Point of Purchase Advertising Hall of Fame for his significant contributions to the industry.
BUILDING FOR TOMORROW
Paul Scriba, President
In 1989 Paul Scriba joined the company and became president in 2004. The company name changed from The WM Group to The WM Display Group or “WM”. Over the last two decades with the support of an outstanding team we have:
- Relocated to our fourth facility
- Introduced 3d modeling and visualization design software
- Continued our investment in manufacturing automation.
- Developed a global supply chain of reliable partners.

- Developed our RRF Retail Ready Fixtures unique retail fixtures designed engineered and tooled ready for a production
Over the course of 75 years, three generations, and with the help of an incredible group of co-workers we have evolved from an OEM metal fabrication company to a full-service retail display and fixture company with some customer relationships having span 50 years.
